INFAMOUS ‘SPAGHETTI WESTERN’ COUNTRY ROCK BAND “THE UNFORGIVEN” TO REUNITE AT STAGECOACH FESTIVAL ON 4/29/12
On April 29th of this year, THE UNFORGIVEN, a notorious 80’s ‘Spaghetti Western’ country-rock band, is scheduled to reunite, for the first time in twenty-five years, at the sold-out Stagecoach country music festival, in Indio California. The reunion show was masterminded by Stagecoach/Coachella Producer Paul Tollet; a fan of the eclectic and seminal band during their mid 80’s heyday. It took Tollet two years to pull it off, as members of the band were scattered across two continents, and some of the legendarily hard drinking, quick-with-their-fists, Inland Empire natives hadn’t spoken in decades.
The Unforgiven lineup for Stagecoach, 4/29/2012
John Henry Jones – vocals/guitar (Burbank, CA — reality TV show runner)
Mike Finn – bass/vocals (Los Angeles, CA — LAUSD Special Ed teacher)
Mike Jones – guitar/vocals (Silverlake, CA — LAUSD teacher)
Jay Lansford – guitar/vocals (Hannover, Germany – lead guitarist in the Simpletones and Ch. 3)
Alan Waddington – drums/vocals (Azusa, CA – Citrus college teacher, well known percussionist)
The festival is a three day event from April 27th to the 29th. On the bill with The Unforgiven are a long list of performers, including Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Chris Isaak, Dave Alvin, and Sara Evans, just to name a few. Not going would be a huge mistake.
